A group of 12 WWers set out to discover what Enchanted Forest offered, and we were not disappointed. In the pine/ madrone woods inside the gate, Indian warriors had mostly finished blooming, but displayed interesting seed pods.  And we found a "mystery flower" that we need you to help identify (see below). Lots of Sunny's favorite Mariposa lily/ pussy ears.

Moving into the grass prairie the Buckbrush was blooming and we saw hundreds of Qtips/Slender cottonweed and Carrot-leaf horkelia, and lots of Paintbrush Owl's clover, Purple sanicle,  Woodland strawberries, Hall's desert parsley, Barestem lomatium, Bicolor lupine, and both white and pink True baby stars.  In the oak woodland we spied Madrone and Manzanita in bloom, Bedstraw/Cleavers, Blue dicks, Western buttercup, Upland larkspur, Silverleaf lupine, Yellowleaf iris, Woodland star, Death camas/Zigadene and a new sweetheart, Indian Pink, a silene without its characteristic  '"balloon".  Shooting stars had mostly bloomed out; some flower stalks held 6-10 flowers each!

Along the stream under towering big leaf maples we saw lots of Fringe cups, Fendler's waterleaf, Yellow sanicle, MIner's lettuce, Dove's foot geranium, Bleeding heart, Naked hip rose, Waterleaf phacellea (looks alot like Fendlers), and star of the show, Giant white trillium. Some of us headed to Woodridge winery for a post-WW recap.

Mystery flower:  We thought it was Broom rape, but now don't think so.  What is your opinion?
